Dr. Michael Main is a lifelong Iowa native and grew up in Urbandale. After graduating from Urbandale High School, he attended the University of Iowa where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in Microbiology. Dr. Main then continued towards his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. While at the University of Iowa, Dr. Main earned the American College of Prosthodontics Undergraduate Achievement Award and was President of the Delta Sigma Delta Fraternity.
Dr. Main is active in the dental community as a member of the Des Moines District Dental Society, Iowa Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. He enjoys attending continuing education courses on many aspects of dentistry including cosmetic dentistry, implant prosthetics, and endodontics.
When not at the office, Dr. Main and his wife, Jenny, enjoy snow skiing and traveling. He is active in sports and likes to golf, mountain bike, play disc golf and basketball. In addition, he enjoys cooking and photography.
