The 9th Annual Iowa Mission of Mercy (IMOM) was held at the Five Flags Center in Dubuque on September 23 and 24, 2016. An estimated 1,368 people had approximately $868,000 of dental care completed in the two day event. Smiles were seen everywhere -- on the faces of the people that received treatment as well as the volunteers. All of the dentistry completed in the two days was provided at NO COST to the patients.
Previous Iowa Missions of Mercy have been held in Waterloo, Newton, Cedar Rapids, Sioux City, Davenport, Des Moines, and Council Bluffs.
Since 2008 the Iowa Mission of Mercy has treated almost 13,000 patients and provided almost $8.5 million in free dental care!!
Everyone from Fleur Dentistry that volunteered at the 2016 Iowa Mission of Mercy was thrilled to be a part of such a great opportunity. We are looking forward to participating in the 2017 Iowa Mission of Mercy at the US Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids, September 29 & 30.
